John Nash has died

???

Sorry for the blank posts just now; the dangers of the button meaning one thing in one setting, and another in another setting.

You will probably read this in the news shortly: John Nash, one of the creators of Hex (independently Piet Hein also created it), died in a car crash yesterday.  He is, of course, more widely known for his accomplishments in mathematics and economics, and the book and movie about him, A Beautiful Mind.  But we can acknowledge him for Hex here, at LG.  The New York Times obituary briefly mentions Hex.

Game theory is a wonderful area of mathematics, though.

May he rest well.

Should we have a Hex tournament in his memory?
