Is there a new variation of WYPS?

What is WYPS 8, is there any change of the rules?

As far as I can tell, the only rule change (other than the board size) is that each player starts off with a ? which can be used as any letter, similar to the blank in Scrabble.

There is as many letters as is size of board !
