Golem Championship

Does anybody know why new championships start after such a big delay (over a month sometimes)? For instance, the last Twixt championship ended 2 weeks ago already and the next one hasn't been started yet.

Games on Little Golem are slow by themselves, is there any need to make things even more slow?

The new championships start one week after all rounds of the last one finish, not just 1st league. The next Twixt championship should start Wednesday morning at 4am (European time).

But the Twixt page suggests that the last championship ended on May 17 (I admit I don't remember). Or does it mention the date the first league finished its tournament?

Yes, that's first league. This group finished last Wednesday morning.
