What's an infinity tournament?

When does it start? What are the specifics behind it? The faq on this site doesn't have an explanation for this.

An infinity tournament is a tournament with a round every two weeks.

As the name implies, there is no end to it.  There isn't really a winner, just a leader-board.

Ok thanks for the quick reply!
