Rating manipulation...

Public forum discussion.

There have been a few others on LG doing the same.  The best thing to do is not even play them.  Resign for your first move and it does not even count as a game.  Then blacklist them.

doubtful here

but

on your-turn-my-turn if you have a lower rating and draw in a semi-final or a final you will be counted as the winner

and maybe (will have to check) still have a lower rating

What is actually the theory about how these people are manipulating the rating system?

They feed other players (controlled by them) points

Duh, I'm sorry for the silly question. Because of mtbikesman's question, I was asking myself how they'd hurt the people they played (though I guess they could do that by actually playing and winning against relatively strong players once in awhile).

yes I've done it (lost alot of games)

1. not reading the rules for a game I've never played before    1a to prevent this read rules and find a bot site to learn game and maybe a few tactics2. resigned early in games that seem to favour the first player    2a to prevent this play each colour in two games and add an additional imaginary point to the winner of the longest game3 play strong players    3a try other sites       !!!!!!!!!!!!
