This is one of two games holding up the completion of championship 50 (and the start of championship 51). I could be wrong but it seems like there has been no way for either player to win for many moves now and either they do not know this or are refusing to offer a draw. Perhaps they do not know that you can offer a draw? It is remarkable. They seem to be placing pegs randomly now. Can this go on forever? Is there a high level player who can nicely suggest they close the game? I am new here so don't feel like I have the authority on LG to do so.

Besides that, Richard could either force a draw on the game and/or start the next championship anyway, without this having finished. He has done this in the past

This is a good example of how easy it can be sometimes to wander into a drawn position. After White's move 33 I don't see any way for either player to win.
