Remove connector in JTwixt

Does anyone know how to remove a connector bar in JTwixt?  JTwixt does not follow the PP rules on Little Golem and I would  like to sometimes cross my own bar in JTwixt.

If you press the Ctrl key when you click to place a peg, you should enter "long move mode". Click on a link of yours to remove it, click on any peg of yours to add all legal links to it. Ctrl-click again to finish the move. In the Board menu you can cancel your long move. It might not work that way on a Mac.
