I hope Richard doesn't mind mention of another game server. If anyone would like to play official standard rules Twixt on a turn-based server with me, we could play on Gamerz handle there is chmeee, taken from a science fiction novel, 10 hardcore points if you know what novel.Registration the site is free.If you want to take a handicap, you are welcome to do so, even though it isn't standard Twixt. List yourself as the first player, and then select a handicap with advantage for the first player.
The smallest advantage for the first player is no swap.Link removal is implemented there. In the rare case you want to do that, you would have to type in a link removal move. I could try to help you with the syntax if the help file isn't clear to you.You can explore variations directly on the game board before you commit to a move.Another way we could play is to use Vassal either by email or in real time on the Vassal server. Row handicapping is available there also. Please download the 1.1 module should know that Vassal modules don't enforce the rules of the game. There is no automatic linking. This is arguably the only REALLY real implementation of Twixt on the Internet, because it is the player's responsibility to add links, not the computer's.My email is twixtfanatic atsymbol gmail period com, please ask if you have any question. If you would like to play in real time, we could arrange to meet on Game Center
