(Sorry for spamming if there was such a topic before)
What happens if there is no legal moves left for the player? Does (s)he lose?

Anything but a draw would be a bug. But I don't know if anyone has tried it out.

On second thought, it is possible that player A fills out the moves behind his lines and runs out of legal moves before B completes a win. :-)

I've asked the same question (What happens if there are no legal moves for a player?) about StreetSoccer, but I don't recall that it was ever definitively answered.

The answer is simple, for both games you have 2 choices: resign or inform Richard. In Street Soccer some players made the experiment and confirmed this.

Simply taken - there is a gap in the rules. Thanks for reassuring.

I am not sure that maraca's claim has to be true for twixt. There is no rule about no legal moves for Breakthrough either but it is implemented as a loss for a player with no legal move (of course this is never a problem in non fixed Breakthrough games)

I am willing to play a fixed twixpp game to determine how it is implemented for it. Just send me an invitation.

I think the official rules for breakthrough states that a player losses if he losses all his pieces.
