Let's figure out how strong AiAi is at Hex?

It would be really interesting to set the ELO scale for the AiAi hex bot by comparing thinking time of the AI with winrates of established players.

Given enough time, the algorithm used would converge on perfect play.

Board size on AiAi is parameterized so you can play against the bot on any size, and select any amount of time to think per move.

Please let me know what kind of results you get!

For super strong players, I don't even know if 10 minutes per move thinking time would be enough to put up a fight, but I can't know for sure.

I can only seem to play on size 11. When I set the size to 13 or 14, I can't make a move.

This might be fixed by first going to Settings... then Select Role... and selecting Superuser (give me everything), closing out the program, and opening it back up agin. Then you should be able to modify board size on Hex to any size. I am currently playing against the bot on size 14. However, even if this is not possible for you, I would still appreciate learning how strong this particular bot is at 11x11.

Even giving it 5 min/move, I was able to defeat it easily on 11x11. It made a few locally suboptimal plays as well

I have the same experience as HappyHippo:  it won't let me move on 13x13 or 14x14.  Selecting Superuser and restarting didn't fix this.
