Public forum discussion.

Interesting Leela chosing 24. g5 rather than f6, Looks like a choice Maciej would make :)

I would like to be very wrong, but it's almost game over. B9 keeps shalev alive for a moment, but it would be a true magic if he can connect that to bottom. I believe in magic though!

G4 would seem to be a simple answer to B9...

Why are we talking about specific moves of a game in progress?

David, because these casual discussions don't make any difference anyway. But in theory you're right, we should avoid that.

David, my thought is that commenting on a game in progress against a computer may possibly help the human but cannot  help the computer... so it may not be a bad thing... what do you think... maybe we should only talk about moves already played...

Leela does seem to make beautiful and logical moves which are great to watch, note her game against Arek as well... her games are reminiscent of Maciej's games...

I also was losing against Jos, and post-game analysis convinced me that the only plausible answer was 6 j3 (using the coordinates from my game).

Leela plays good enough that one error in the opening is fatal. It's really as simple as that. And we make a lot of errors there. We just play very stupid guesses.

In my games I experimented with 4-4, and I died of excess experimentation, heheh. It's interesting Daniel got into a winning position by doing same initial stones as me...

Sorry I've been away for a few days. I've been meaning to resign my game with leela for a while now, there is no hope at all. I've just been experimenting to see how it replies to various desperate attempts. So in my opinion you can feel free to discuss, I think both leela and I know the outcome already.

Yah, if you play to the top of the board B7 wins and if you play to the bottom G4 wins.

In Areks game I kind of liked 6.H7, I think he needed to follow with 10.i8 which Leela jumped on when he didn't play it...

I agree with Lazy that Leela can see through to the end from an early point so an early mistake is just as fatal as a later mistake.  Clearly this will improves us humans level of play :)

I think that the most difficult move for Leela to answer by Shalev would be 25.G4 ...
