Interesting tournement . interesting game Daniel vs Shalev

Shalev, interesting that you have dropped to 8th place !

Yes, the ordering is a bit funny. I won a game and moved from 8th to 2nd.

Nice job, Shalev! No offense Daniel, I root for us underdogs, namely anyone not from Poland !

Thanks! I think the situation now is that if I win all my remaining games, I win, and otherwise Daniel wins (this is assuming Daniel wins his remaining game).

Good luck :)

Shalev, a question on move 36, did you consider e10 which looks to me like an immediate win? Of course, your move did win.

36. e10 does not look like an immediate win. It might not be a win at all. How do you respond to 37. b12?

I see, that does seem to work. You're right that it looks simpler than what I did in the game - I just missed it :)

You are having a strong tournement. Good luck on your remaining games !

Congratulations Shalev on winning the tournement ! Alex were you able to determine this early on that your game with Shalev was losing?

Time.. Maybe he doesn't know how to make a move without board's picture

Daniels right,
I think he has timed out on at least 2 games.
I was hoping to see his game against Shalav played out a little further

It was definitely a time issue due to the littlegolem display bug, which is kind of sad. I thought my position was solid, but it was very early on and Arek is a very good player. Arek, if you're interested, we can try to unofficially replay the game from that position to see what would have happened (once the bug has been fixed, of course).

Yes, that would be very interesting!

I have little time to play, so I probably cannot play the game well anyway. Congrats for the win!
Well, it's sad that the littlegolem is unable to repair a silly bug like those images. I have no intention on making any move without displaying the board properly.
