Reporting, LIVE, from our very informal gaming session here in my home. Just Jan Arild, Frode, Taral and myself, but lots of fun! We're playing 13x13 with 10 mins + 10 secs pr move, which is JUST too little, and keeps us on the edge.

I wish I could meet more of you guys for a real world event some day! It sure has been a long time since Wroclaw...

Oh, it was! We managed to play six games each; so everyone got to play everyone else twice (the last game had to be played with a shorter time limit, but still...). Jan Arild won a smashing 5 games, Frode and Taral won 3 each, while I only managed to won a single game *sob*.

So, who wants to join us next time we play?

Oh man -- I know I am a terrible Hex player, but I would LOVE to play in person more. A weekend of hexing in Europe sounds amazing.

I've finally played enough games to be allowed to post here. I don't play quite at your level (yet), but I'd love to participate in real-world Hex events. I can bring my own board :)

Are we seeing the emergence of "kpato's 2012 G&G World Cruz" (G&G = games and guitars), with local live tournaments at various ports?

What better excuse for Londoners to meet other LGers, for example?

kpato: It would be great if we could find the time to meet and maybe play a couple games of some sort. Do you have any idea when you'll be in Oslo?

Harald: Do you live in or near Oslo? I hope we'll be able to hold another small Hex tourney this spring, and more players are always welcome!

Yeah, i have all the dates of my "tour" haha.

but i don't have any idea of my schedule in the ship, and how hard is gonna be the gig.

but we will see. Norway is one of the countries that I'm going to be the most of the time.

but like i said, i don't know even if I'm going to be able to get off that day, and what time.

Are you heading into the Baltic Sea at all? If so - name your port, and I'll do my best to be there. I'm long overdue trips back to Sweden and Denmark, for example.

if everything is okay, I'm going to be in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Russia.

Hex torunament in Barcelona anyone? Good weather, beautiful city, cheap flights with RyanAir;) We could make open-air torunament in Park Guell or something;) Wrocław was already like 7 years ago?

Yeah, I saw the big schedule you posted elsewhere. Doesn't seem too likely, but I'll keep the dates you've posted for Oslo and Ålesund in mind (there's a certain chance I will be in my hometown this summer).

Any chance of a Hex session in Oslo on Friday, 12th of October? It would combine well with the Norwegian Go Championship 13-14 October.
