Yet another round of auto-setup championships?

The current championship was yet again with random setups, but I thought we were done with the random setups for championships?

I'll retire from the championship if this continues - no fun playing an abstract strategy game only to spoil it with an initial lottery :(

Tzaar or Dvonn?

Tzaar has only ever had random here. The Dvonn championship I'm currently in (28.2.1) did manual setup.

The current Dvonn championship (28.1.1) used random setup, as dd the previous one.

The is no documented or even claimed advantages in Tzaar by doing manual setups, so random is fine for those.

Morten, you may be getting confused with the monthly cup. For example, here is one of your current championship games using normal (non-random setup) setup:

(Unless I'm entirely misunderstanding. :))
