Championship start dates?

It looks like the time between tournaments can vary from a couple of days to several months.  Does anyone know how the new start dates are determined?

No. Next championship start immediately, when all groups are finished. But in table (for example https://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/games/gamedetail.jsp?gtid=polyomino&page=ch ) are dates only for 1st league. There are all groups ( https://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/games/championship.jsp?trnid=polyomino.ch.9.1.1).

Ah, I see. So the gap between start dates is however long it takes all of the other leagues to finish.

One more question if you don't mind.  Why is the Championship League now set to a random?  Setting up the board is half the fun and very important strategically.
