I didn't have time to do a full update (nor time to make good picks:), but i'll do an update after today's game.

Bill LeBoeuf takes down "names for coke", with an astute mixture of the beverage and the powder.

BTW, my life will be getting very busy soon, and i may not be able to participate or do updates on Empathy games. Does someone want a copy of the code in order to take that over? It's just a Python script (e.g. run from a command line) that uses the HTML files as input (fetched with curl, which is an updated wget).

Well, that was an unmitigated disaster... :-(

I totally missed the boat on this one, missing all of the top four responses.

It was by far my worst game since starting, and the first one where i finished

outside of the top 7 by rank.

With only 18/39, it also did serious damage to my "percent of top score" average,

My streak on the last-7 leaderboard also comes to an end. I knew that Tom Ace was

hot on my heels, as he had just a few less points than me over the past 6 games.

I've had a fairly large buffer for two months, but when it got close, i couldn't

hold it together. No excuses though, he earned it, fair and square.

If my calculations are correct, i broke the record for consecutive games on top

of the last-7 leaderboard, with 19 in a row. That breaks the previous mark of

18 games held by mongoose and Robin. I took over the top spot after the first

6 games i played, with a game in hand.

Speaking of records, i came across an older post saying mongoose's peak golfcard

score of 84 over 18 games (including five firsts) would probably never be broken.

Well, that prediction turned out like most predictions... :)

My score of 45 over 18 games might eventually be broken, if the number of active

players continues to decline...

Congrats to funtobewith11, IM CGM JeanHebert, and new player alihv for dealing

with a difficult category better than the rest. I was glad to see a Canadian

flag near the top, even though it turned out to not be me!

This game ranks among the hardest categories of all time, along with other "NOT"

categories like "most unknown country", and "most unknown animal". The top 10

answers covered only 22.7% of all reponses. One might even say that it was

"pretty darned random", but i'm sure one wouldn't be bitter in saying it... :)
