Display

The display when you are preparing your move is great -- with the extra red square showing where you've moved a piece from.

Do others agree that the main display should show the red square as well? I know I would find it helpful for reviewing games, and even for choosing my next move.

I don't know if I agree. It would be great for paging through games, but it might be distracting when you're studying a position to choose your next move.
