counting

I wrote some notes on counting out the value of an endgame, and put them up at wccanard.wetpaint.com (the file is counting.pdf).

The notes are supposed to be readable by someone who knows about the chain rule and doublecrosses, but who is a bit confused by how they can sometimes win the chain battle but lose the game.
