Well it is down to 1 match where appearently the one player left. This really shouldnt happen in league 1.

@Thnikkaman: What do you mean "left"? I see that michael has made a move in January.

I just mean moving really slowly (going into vacation mode) even though I am sure it is not because he is considering what the optimal move it.

He has also lost all of his lost game on time. I agree with Thnikkaman that this is unfortunate in league 1. I guess Real Life sometimes demands too much...

Yeah I don't mean to complain, but it is just a shame for the championship and for the people waiting for the new one to start. But maybe I should cut him some more slack since he is a 10x champion

Okay, unfortunately I have to proclaim my retirement from playing Dots and Boxes here (due to being busy in real-life). Thanks to everyone I had the pleasure to compete against, primarily Geoff Cameron, Jeena and Scotty for beating me as well as Thnikkaman for his dedication to the game!

It's sad that such an amazingly deep strategic game as Dots and Boxes does not get the attention it would deserve (though I guess as for most other abstracts it's the same). When looking over the top player's list I can see there are many good players who stopped playing for whatever reasons. I hope one day this game will be spread around the world, however, that will be the day of my return for sure.

Thanks for playing here. You dominated most (but not all) for a year. You were always willing to discuss the game. You helped a lot, and I have rarly seen such a dominating player (losing just a single game in a year).

You'll be missed but I am sure you'll be back :)
