I was wondering to what extent some of Little Golem's games are dominated by the best players respectively, so I put the average rating of the top 50 players to 100 and calculated an index for the top 10 players. The results are:

TwixT: 117

Chess: 114

4ir: 112

Hex: 110

Reversi: 108

(Read: The average rating of Hex top 10 players is 10 % higher than the average rating of Hex top 50 players.)

If you accept this index as an indicator of dominance, the top 10 TwixT players seem to be a little more dominant than the top 10 Reversi players. There's much room for improvement in this approach, but as a first step it's not too bad, I think.

By the way, the idea was inspired by Mightyking's impressive peformance in Chess. ;)

regarding the reversi rating I think the main reason is that we are previlaged to have at LG many strong players who play regularly on the various tournaments (mainly in Europe).

I hope the calculted 108 figure will get closer to 100 when more players start playing here (we still have not any US, Japanese or French players). IMO the reversi first league is one of the most competitive here (when cheaters do not play off course!).

Can you do it for Dots-and-boxes as well?

Here are some missing values:

Amazons: 110

Dots & Boxes: 112

Dvonn: 113

GWG: 112

Now I'm curious about the future development of these indicators ...
