Championships of nations

When i maked my account here - this was 2 years ago - in the page with the settings i read 'Country is used for tournaments of teams. You can represent your country in team tournaments in your favourite games.'This message exists and now.Unfortunately this sort of tournament doesn't exist not even now.I think we need this , because for every game there are a lot of players from a lot of countries . What do you think about this , Richard ? :)

Such tournaments DOES exist - in a way. But not "officially". In Hex and Reversi, there has been initiatives to launch team tournaments, where people from the same nation form a team. The games are started by invitation, so the games are unrated, but they are no less fun for that reason! :-)

If you have a game where you would like a multi-nation tournament, I suggest you post a thread in the relevant forum, and you'll probably find that lots of people are signing up. It might be a good idea to look at the "top 50" list first, to get an idea of which nations could be able to form a team. For other nations, just form an "other nations" team.

Thx , Marius for help , but when i have wrote the message i have already know about the unoficiall tournaments organized here ! I just want to tell about automatically organized tournaments - we all came here for fun , not for some extra work :)
