why does this person resign everything?

I don't know, but I had the same, and new games started against him...

maybe he is shy.
the next time be more tender.

Did You ask him?

In over 100 games of Go, he has never once played a stone. Usually he resigns at the first opportunity. Occasionally, he passes for his first move and resigns for his second.

What is the fun in that? It only costs expensive time and mouse-clicks.

It seems the only games he is playing are some hex games.

Hi,
maybe it fhelps sending him a message, that there is this topic in the forum, and asking him to answer here. If some of You do the same this shows at least, that this aggressive behavior of John Harnden is noticed.

He resigned every game. I thought it was kinda weird to resign every game before even making a move. But its not unusual.

I wish the webmasters would tell him to stop it, or ban him from the website...

If some one for example has no time to play here just now, isn't it better that he or she resigns all his or her games, instead of just stopping to play? I think he or she need not ban for that.

It is not just someone who suddenly did not have time to play anymore, but someone who signed up for all the games in all possible tournaments and continueing to do that while not making any moves for the far more than 100 games he had running. In most of the types of games that person signed up for he never made one single move ever... To me it looks like someone is deliberately trying to annoy others or someone else must have gotten the login info of that person and have been trying to annoy him by signing him up for all games. In any case, he is not signing up for more games (or is not being signed up for more games) and he is now resigning all the games he has no intention of playing.
