Mini Tournaments

You can now play in 4 player 'all play all' tournaments. You will play a game with the white pieces and the black pieces against each of the other players giving you a total of 6 games. Have fun!

Brief Introduction

These games are correspondence type chess games but in a very exciting modern format which makes it more addictive, social, friendly, instructive and hassle free. Your opponent probably will not be logged on at the same time as you, so please don't expect an immediate reply.

You play a move on the board and your opponent is notified. When they have made their reply you are emailed. If your opponent is logged in at the same time then it is possible to play a whole game at one sitting but most people prefer to make a few moves and then come back to make the rest of their moves.

As a courtesy to opponents, please do not start games unless you mean to finish them.

To begin playing:

1. Join a Game

2. Invite a Player

3. Create a Game

We encourage you to play several games at the same time so that you always have a chess game to think about. Take your time to analyse the positions and play your best chess!

Please take some time to get acquainted with the site.

1. Read the Help Section

2. Go to My Preferences and make sure your playing environment is set to your liking. You can set your email notification preference, set your board colour, size and pieces and upload an image for your homepage etc.3. When you have created games you need to go to My Games to see a list of your games. Clicking on the game number will take you to that board where you can play your move.

4. Join the forum and introduce yourself.
