website access

this week my success rate at getting in to littlegolem has dropped below 50percent. no doubt also my opponents are suffering too, specially those who can only log on rarely. is this because of increased popularity of site, or other tecnical problems. anybody know?

Yes, I had more problems logging onto LG in the last week than before, especially from the server at work (during lunchbreak CET) and around midnight CET from home.

Does anybody else have the same problem at around the same time ?

Yes same thing for me. I have much difficulties to connect around 12am / 12pm CET, which is when I usually have time to play.

Maybe the server automatically reboots every 12 hours to avoid the previous performance problems ?

Hi, I am the person running the HW hosting the site. We have had a problem with littlegolem application. Last message from Richard says that it should be solved now. Let's see. If you see any further problems please let us know.

FYI - I was quite frequently restarting the littlegolem process not the whole machine ;-)

if there's a further problems it would be good for Richard to post a message here letting everyone know what's happening, and maybe a time scale for its solution - otherwise newcomers might drift away in frustration (as i would have done if i hadn't been specifically invited by a friend to play a game here)

After trying and failing to access this site for a few days I have had no problems today, long may it continue
