Who's here?

Can anyone tell me how you go about finding out who is on line in this site presently? Is there a way? Thank you....

This is a subject that keeps coming up. There is no way to tell who's "online" on Little Golem, simply because no-one IS online in the usual sense. You just submit moves and/or messages. Look at it as sending moves and/or messages by e-mail.

You are right Marius that "who is on line" subject returns pretty often. I think that a kind of solution would be the list of LG users ordered by last connection time (or better by last activity time). I believe it is not hard task for Richard because we have already such lists ordered by rank.

Why do you need such informations ? Who needs know who's online ?

Do you want to play faster = only with online opponents ? Then use combo box under 'message area' when you are sending a move and set it to 'Next game with online opponent'

The reason why I ask is if you have ever heard of "ItsYourTurn.com". It is another turn-based site except you have the option of "WHO IS HERE" and it will have a list of who is currently on the site since the last time that you checked. That way you can randomly invite a person to a game or look to see if someone in particular is available. Well thank you guys for your replies. Take it easy and happy gaming.....
