Hi friends!

On this Christmans season I decided to find HIM.

I´ve received so many kindly messages, the city is so wonderfull with it´s shining lights, happy people walking on the stores streets, the television with some romantics and family movies , evry thing looks so calm and a kind of peace feeling spreads out... But.

I keep my self looking around and around but...

I don´t find HIM. The one knowed as the world´s savior.

Wondering, ask to my self if we need to christianize his birthday.

So if you had a better luck tham me, if I am the only one on this earth that didn´t find HIM, please tell me where HE is.

Nice Christmans to all of you. Hoping that ours hearts be on HIS birthday just like that simple manger full of love , on Mary´s arms , shepherds, God´s star. With the angels saying deeply loudly.

8And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. 12This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

13Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14"Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

Luke 2:8-14

Love you.

'Twas the reason for Christmas when, just as God planned,

A Savior was sent to a sinner-filled land.

"All the world should be taxed," August decreed,

So Joseph and Mary went up with all speed

From Nazareth into Judea to pay,

But soon it was Mary's delivery day.

She was still a virgin, and yet bore a son

Who, even though human, was God's holy one.

In the Bethlehem Inn, no room could be found,

So into a manger the babe was laid down.

The Shepherds were told to go look for the boy

When angels appeared to them bringing great joy

Saying "Glory to God in the highest," and then,

"On earth will be peace, also good will toward men."

Now Jesus in wisdom and favor did grow

And people spoke to John the Baptist, "'Tis so:

"The blind have their vision and mute men can talk.

"The deaf have their hearing and lame men can walk."

But scribes and the pharisees made quite a bother

When Jesus told everyone God was His Father.

Then Judas betrayed Jesus Christ with a kiss

And the priests said to Pilate, "His crime, it is this:

"He told everyone He was 'king of the Jews.'"

Of this and some other things they did accuse.

They crucified Him and then sealed up His tomb

Which later was found to be just empty room.

In dying and rising He took for us all

The punishment for sins that caused us to fall.

So remember at Christmas to praise without pause,

For it's Jesus Who saved us, and not Santa Claus.

Isn't this yet another example of people doing things long after the reason for doing it has been "forgotten"? Christmas, though still officially a celebration of our Saviours birthday (albeit admittedly on the wrong day), has become a gift-giving, hog-hogging, commersialistic winter sacrifice and not much more.

I'm done now.

Hence the last couplet of my poem. Commercialism certainly becomes foremost in many minds at this time of year, but that is but a temporal issue and a result of living in a fallen world at that - it is not something that will last eternally.

I'll leave you, however, with a brief quote from a Tom Lehrer song: "Angels we have heard on high / tell us to go out and buy."
