Another timing question

In two of my games in which my opponent has not played since 11/16, the time keeps increasing without any moves being made. A couple days ago, it was down to 37 hours, then went back up to I'm not sure what. The last time I examined the game (earlier today), it showed 43 hours, but right now when I looked again, it showed 52 hours. Remember: neither player has made any moves in these games since 11/16.

Any ideas?

The player is probably timing out in other games, each player gets 20 vacation days per year. If he times out in a game 24 hours are added to the clock in all his games.

His time probably keeps on bouncing back and forth between 30 and 54 or something like that. This will continue happening until this person used all his vacation days.
