Responding to a message: finding someone's email

I recently got a message requesting a file. Of course, the only way I can send this file is through the email. Maybe this person has his email listed in his personal info, and maybe not. But since it wasn't given with the message, I had to find out somehow. Little Golem doesn't make this task easy. It would be nice if a message window also contains a link to the sender's info. Thanks.

One would presume that email addresses are not given out for the sake of security and privacy. There are two possible solutions:

1) Send a reply back to the person who sent you the email

and request the necessary email address.

2) If the file is for a game which you both played, that

person should be able to access the game file as well,

without your having to email it. Thus you could reply to

the original message with instructions for the person to

access the game file without either of you having to

reveal your email addresses to each other or to anyone

else.

Now, if you would just give me Duke's email address so I can contact him about the secret family recipe for your baked beans..... ;-)

Uh, Rob, I appreciate your concern; apparently your advice is intended to help me send my file one way or another. But I already worked that out, thank you. My post was a feature request. I described my predicament as a way of illustrating why my requested feature would be desirable. You may notice this post has a link to my info page, just over <---there on the left. It would be nice if each received message also contained such a link for the sender's info page. Each member's info page contains only what that member wishes to be made public.

And the guy in the commercial is Jay Bush, not Dave Bush. If you don't get that commercial in Poland, na_wspak, then you're better off. :-)
