Endless games

Having read the FAQ, I'm still wondering when two of my games are going to time out. In games #66414 and #66324, I have already made the first move in each game on 07/25/2003, but my opponent (same for both games) has not made any moves at all, and has not even connected to the system since 07/27/2003. In the player's info screen, it does say "(on vacation !)", but it is now well past not only the 20 days allowed, but also the 30 days the FAQ says it should take for the game to be forfeited. I'm guessing that this has something to do with the negative times we saw a few weeks ago, but does anyone have any idea when these games will finish?

i had this problem too, where people had joined the site around 25/07/03 played for 2 days and then never again! but they finally timed out today, so just sit back and wait for your rating to rise! :)

Something strange is going on in my match #78963. While I am waiting for my opponent to make her first move, the remaining time keeps going up _beyond_ 240 hours, and the match pretty much stays at the bottom of my list of games.

The reason for times beyond the 240 limit is presumably that your opponent timed out in another game. In that case 24 hours are added to every game, giving him more than 240 hours for that game.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense! ;-)))
