Smooth Play

I have noticed that this site plays at least 3 games much smoother when I use Netscape 7.0. I use 2 browsers the other being IE 6.0 ver somthing. Netscape does not seem to need to redraw the whole screen at every move, IE does.

Street Soccer was a true joy to play using Netscape, and almost joyfull using I.E.

Hex also plays smoother, and so does the GWG.

Netscape is better at this site.

I noticed increased problems with IE when I installed the latest Active X. Nothing that a window refresh or screen refresh wouldn't cure, but a bit annoying all the same.

At home over dial-up I use Opera with settings "show pictures only from cache". I of course sometimes need download any pictures or whole page, but all games are faster :-)
