Repeated system downtimes

I don't know everyone else's experience in trying to connect to LG, but I have noticed a lot of apparent downtime. In particular, I get greatly extended waiting times followed by "Internal Server Error (500)" messages Sunday nights after 10PM or so (Eastern US time). Is some sort of regularly scheduled maintenance performed on the system every week during which the system is not available, or is something else happening that prevents my reaching the server?

I had the same for much of this morning (i.e. 09:00 to 11:00 GMT). I could reach the server, as shown by ping and by traceroute, but it would not talk to me.
