Where is the preferences page?

If there is one I would like to know where please?

There isn't a huge number of things you can set. What you can is found in two places. On the menu on the left, click on Login/New user. Then, instead of typing in your login and password, look at the things that appear in the menu right under where you clicked. Tow of them will be Edit User Profile and Edit User Properties. Properties is just which boards to use in games where there's a choice. Profile is information about yourself.
