I've got a couple of games that have negative remaining time. Has the daemon crashed again, or is there something else that needs fixing?
Thanks, Bertil

Because there was a problem with server, I turn-off time counting for this week.

Some of my opponnets has negative time too.
Will it be fixed globally ?

Once richard starts the clock daemon all games in negative time will end. Tournaments will also start again :)

The time out feature being off also helps the players in the eastern U.S and Canada without power.

I am confused as to what restarting the clock will do. Suppose a player has a game with -36 hours and we restart the clock, what is his clock set to and what are his vacation days set to?

i have someone that has -155 hours gheheh

the last time this happened the players with negative hours lost vacation days. If someone had -36 hours then he lost 2 vacation days. The advantage for the players with negative time is that if they move before the bug is corrected they will save vacation days that they would have otherwise lost.

when will the daemon be restarted?

I hope Richard puts the clock-checking back soon. The next Four-in-a-Row championship can't start until the current one ends. And that won't happen until players are forfeited. The same goes for the second round round of the Chess April Monthly Cup, because there's a player in a first-round section whose clock needs to run out. I'm sure there are other examples, too.
