Why don't you post your game requests into the waiting room or join tournements.

Please don't use Capital letters all the time. Use lower case. Use Capital only for a few words because it means you are SHOUTING.
Thank you.

using caps doesn't always mean shouting the visually impared need to and with webtv and NTL you can't adjust the size very well like on a PC I chat with alot of ppl that need to use caps to read messages and respond to messages

Capital letters don't make anymore noise than lower case ones, some people get carried away with net 'rules'.

Shelia, look at it this way: when you're posting on a forum, you invite people to read what you have to say. No one *has* to read your posts. If you want people to read your stuff, you should make it accessible.
I don't know about you, but if I see a caps-only post, I skip it. Too much trouble to read. That also goes for lowercase posts without paragraphs and punctuation, and/or with a lot of spelling mistakes.
This particular instance isn't too bad, since only the subject (one line) is in caps. The message itself is very readable.
Margareteet: I find the easiest way to get games in here is just to join rating tournaments. The server will find opponents of about the same strength for you.
Have fun!

I guess everyone has a different definition of what SHOUTING is.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist...

So if someone can not spell great their post is not worth reading? How snobbish is that...

Ever check out US money? EVERTHING is in cap letters...the Government is SHOUTING at us...:)

I was afraid that reaction would come... No, Shelia, if someone makes a few spelling mistakes it doesn't bother me, especially if they're not writing in their own language. I'm Dutch myself, and a native USian can probably find a few in my posts.
But it's ususally easy to see the difference between someone who can't speak English very well, and someone who's just plainly too lazy to read and check their postings before pressing the Submit button.
Why should I put my energy into reading a garbled message if the author didn't put any energy into making it readable?

... Yes, I should have seen "ususally" ... :-)
