Can somebody tell me a reversi variant game with rules, which is not permission-reversi, or reversed-reversi? Thx

In http://www.di.fc.ul.pt/~jpn/gv/othello.htm you will find links to pages about gomullo, desdemona, annexation, iago and sacrifice reversi.
Some of the links go to the zillions page, http://www.zillions-of-games.com/ then, you can try searching in google the next words: zillions othello (or, zillions reversi).

Lightspot-reversi! The rules are the same but the goal is different. Both players agree on a square (for example f3) and whoever controls that square at the end of the game wins the game.
Other shapes! Not the regular 8x8-board or even the not very uncommon 10x10, 12x12 or 6x6, but an octagon-shaped, triangel-shaped or diamond-shaped board. I don't know how much they refer to serious games, but nevertheless they can give just joy, pleasure and fun.

Rules of another reversi variant:
Before the game a random square needs to be chosen by a third party (computer, other person, etc.). The players don't know which square it is.
When this square is played during the game the colors will be switched. So the player who was white will now be playing with black and vice versa.
Can be very funny :)

It sounds fun Robin, but you'll introduce a part of luck instead of strategy by making it random.
