Hmm... I haven't tried to print out any games yet, but I think that's a good point. It doesn't strike me as a super-important feature, but monochrome board settings for all of the games would be a nice feature, especially for people with B&W printers, but also, in accordance with your high standards of compatibility, for those with monochrome monitors. (I actually had to use one of those to browse the web a few years back :-( )
Anyway, for now, try saving the image to disk, and using an image-editing program to convert it to grayscale or black and white, using dithering or something. If you're very lucky, the images use colour palettes, and you can replace a colour with black or white... for example, replace all of the yellow in a connect-four game with white, the yellow with red, the background colour with white, &c.

Better yet, save the time, go shopping for a color printer. The cheapest ones out there are pretty damn good.
A suggestion to anyone who has a non-Hewlett Packard Color printer is to print something everyday. Keeps the nozzles clean, HP's put the nozzles in the inkcartridge where there get replaced when you buy a new cartridge.

I have no problem printing Go games (on BW laser printer). GWG games at first caused errors, now I can print them but only letter not images. That means I can get square with letters but no circles and no joins.
Now I don't play GWG (it would take too much time) so I'm not sure about situation.
