Dear developer,

I am new here, I was playing on playsite many years before, and nowadays I would like to restart playing on kurnik and here.

I understand the concept of playing this way you developed at this site.

I like better playing online, and I found if you would do some improvement on this site, it could be a good place to play games online, too.

Please just dont write one thing: 'There are a lot of place where you can play online.'

No, there is no place, where you can play online twixt, 13x13 hex, etc. and of course here are the best players.

I think it worth for you, because many people would use this site more often, you had more players and many many more games, and the improvement would not be hard.

I suggest to develop first a 'who is online' feature.

Of course I know nobody is online in the usual way, but you know when was the last activity, and you can list the players sorting by this way.

In this list it would be good if we could see, who would like to play instantly, and what type of games would the player play. But if its hard to implement, the most important to see, who is 'online'.

I suggest second to develop a chat function. The message function is almost good for chatting, but there is a more usable chat function - a window looking like a chat windows, we can see our previous chat in one window, and it could automatically refresh in every 10/20/30 seconds - it depends. maybe the best, if we can set, how often it should refresh.

Third: chat for everyone

And if you did the chat function, maybe not too hard to make one chat where everybody can write.

Maybe I write something wrong - I am not a programmer, I never developed web pages, but I hope you understand the goal: to emulate online game place, which should improve the using of the site while keeping the existing concept, and I am sure, if I wrote something wrong you can find even more useful way to reach it.

Thank you

Gabor

I think this would make the site more fun. The discussions are the main thing i miss from playing at the live sites.

Yes, PBMserv has very strong players, such as Peter Henke and Klaus Hußmanns. Also, Twixt on PBMserv uses the official ruleset (link removal) and even allows row handicap games if you want.

Realtime Twixt is possible on the Net between two people, but there is no server yet. Sorry for wandering off the original topic, but I will take any opportunity to promote my favorite game.

How can I find a way to get reply from the developer. I thought this is the right place, but no answer in the last 20 days.
