Amazons Board

I am struggling with the new board colours, I find it has low contrast and confusing. Something like this would be better

Maybe better on white and grey checkerboard and blocking squares shown as a red brick pattern

The simple design is an improvement. The boards are flipped both online and in the app, white should be at bottom and black on top.
