I don't see any option to register to Mini Cup in new version of website.
Will it be implemented later or there won't be any mini cups anymore?

The player pool is fairly small, so it can be difficult to get enough people together for every tournament format. I’ve recently improved the matching in the waiting rooms to help players find opponents.
If there’s enough interest, we could also introduce “Speed Championships”: tournaments with shorter time controls and no vacation time, with a new edition starting as soon as the previous one finishes.
Would that be something you’d like to play? And what time control would you prefer?

Yes, Speed Championships seem to be a nice alternative for mini cups.

How about trying a Speed Championship with these time settings?
- 48 hours on each player’s clock initially.
- 12 hours added after each move, up to a maximum of 48 hours.
- No vacation.
The two-day time bank would give some flexibility for sleep and work, while the smaller increment would keep games moving faster than a 24-hour-per-move limit.

I like 12 hour increment (basically one move per player per day), but I think 72 hours would be little bit better. It's not that often to have 2 very "rough" days in a row, I think 3 would be little bit more friendly without really impacting how long these games would take.

i like the general idea and the 72 hrs, allows for a long offline weekend :)
