So I was playing against ladderfix2, and after one move I made, they resigned. But why was the game rated unrated after they resigned?

I'm a bit confused because I thought that after a person resigns when they have made several moves or less, the person wins and moves up a ranking.

Anyway, if I were to bet, I'd say it was a game of the Ladder Tournament, not an invitation. Am I right?
