New championships that did not start as scheduled

I was expecting Einstein5 championship to start today, according to the tournament calendar and as posted on the Einstein page. But it did not start. Also, the Einstein 50 did not start as scheduled. Is this because there are still games going from a previous championship? If so, then is that a bug? Or planned? Of course the Einsten50 #1 championship will likely take awhile (years), but the Einstein5 championship is done except for two very slow games. If those two games finish soon, will the new championship begin? Or do we have to wait until June 1?

I think I can answer my own question after some thought. A new championship can't start because places are not yet determined from the previous championship. However, if there is only one section for a tournament (for the current unfinished and also the new championship), then there is not a need to wait for the previous championship to finish (but that option would have to be programmed)

Ocean's 11 was supposed to start on Dec. 1. But championship #2 just ended today! So the next championship will start on June 1?

It does make me wonder, too, if tournament start dates are a "next available date after X" thing or a "only on X or else it's skipped" thing. I guess we'll see based on whether Ocean's Eleven starts tomorrow.

If it's the latter I bet we could get Richard to start it manually if we ask him nicely.
