Draws & Ladder Format

I just finished this ladder game in Blokus Mini, result was a draw: https://littlegolem.net/jsp/message/message.jsp?msgid=5653489

I fought to a draw, but with the current format the result has no effect on the ladder, basically the same as if I lost the game. Even though draws are rare and there's a lot of drawless games here, these aren't valueless results.

I'm wondering if there should be some intermediate result for a draw, like the challenger moves up to one spot behind the defender.

In DGS (go) the challenger who get a draw reaches the rank just behind the defender.
