All games split in variants?

Just check the full list in any game and any variant of each game turns up. All variants has its own ratings. But did not turn up in players profile. Is this massive upgrade coming up soon, or been like this for a long time? Will all variations have Championships soon and will they be slpit up on players profiles too?

Ok, I was just getting in shock, thought my rating had suddenly dropped from 1773 to 1611!? But 1611 is my 50-points rating it appears. So now I can play 1-point games again without being afraid of losing my 3-points game rating ;-)
