shortest tournament (?) ever at littlegolem...20 minutes

I entered a monthly cup today, Feb. 24.   There was only one player registered, Varegka.

then, suddenly the tournament began with only two players.  Why?  that is not what I signed up for.

So I resigned the game without making a move, and Varegka wins the strange two player tournament 20 minutes later.

Why did this tournament start with only two players??

The designation feb.1.1 indicates this is the first draughts tournament of February. I believe that means you were the second person to sign up since Feb. 1. Maybe the software decided no one else would sign up before the end of February, so it started the tournament.

This phenomenon has been common in Reversi10 since January 2016. I have no idea why.
