cutesy avatars

something is generating 'cutesy' avatars for those who have not uploaded one; who is doing this? is it Richard, or is it Gravitar?

I believe Richard changed the gravatar type to monsterid.

thanks; i just read up on it; interesting! (meow)

By the way, how can you change it if you do not want to link a FB account?
