Public forum discussion.

New Game: Heteronyms are words that are spelled identically but have different meanings when pronounced differently. For example: Lead, pronounced LEED, means to guide. However, lead, pronounced LED, means a metallic element.

This is a fun list of words.  can you think of any?

tear

[note that tear/tare is also a homonym, different words, different spelling same pronunciation.  Are there any other such words, that are part of both a heteronym pair, and a homonym pair?]

Now that I think of it, read/reed is another heteronym/homonym set; furthermore, we also have read/red!

Sust is right or course, but still fun!  I think the list is incomplete at wikipedia, however, for example,  Richard just added the game of draughts, I think I will drink a few draughts (drafts)  while playing some draughts
