I'm thinking to open a board game cafe in Portugal. Any one have experience with the viability of this kind of projects?

I'm only in a very preliminary stage but if any one have some experience that could share I'll appreciate. If any one in Portugal want´s to join the project or know similar projects are welcome.

"Happily people understand the idea and atmosphere [of Ziferblat] much faster and deeper than it sometimes happens in Russia," Mitin says. "They don't bother each other with loud laughs when it's quiet in Ziferblat, and they don't nearly make children in the corner as happens in my country. ..."

No wonder, because as playing board games vs. making children goes, the British tend to choose the former:

"Only a third of married couples end their big day with post‐nuptial nookie while the others would rather fling off their dancing shoes and huddle up in their room to play Scrabble or Cluedo, according to a poll of 5,000 adults."
