database error

Uh-oh...  this happens every time I try to play a move.

org.apache.jasper.JasperException:

java.sql.SQLException:

General error message from server:

"Table './golem/indexgame' is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

I encountered the same problem.  Immediately afterwards, I reached a position where it was my move, even though I was the one who had moved most recently:

Out of bounds exception.

Exception:java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

When I'm trying to open a game from list of "My Games" I have en error: Exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

Looks like a serious problem: A corrupted, repaired and still corrupted database. I can not view a single game, neither ongoing nor finished. The list of my ongoing games looks okay, some tournament tables I checked are looking okay too. So there is hope.

Let's cross fingers that Richard can find and circumvent the problem!

Some of my games disappeared without a trace. In the midst of the database problems I resigned one of my OSKI matches and it does not appear in any form in my finished matches, nor did it affect my ranking points. It was just a simple rated game, not part of any tournament, perhaps that is why there is no trace of it.

So what will happen to such games?

The database recovered ok. No missing moves for me.

I couldn't even write to forum. Got a msg saying I was not trustworthy (!?). Checking it's solved with this message.

Not trustworthy means that the database was reporting that you were a member for fewer than ten days, or had played fewer than 10 games.

I note that you message strongly implies that it got straightened out...

yper, I found it on the list of 'rating games', but it is not on my finished games list.

@vector, I don't know of a "finished games list". I know of an "all games list".

Can you share a link to this list? And tell us the number of the game in discussion?

Oh, you mean the rating games page, sorry. Yes, the newest game there is between bloke and vector and does appear in your personal lists.

This seems like a bug, most probably due to the recent problems. Please contact Richard.
