New programmers challenge: Ayu

On www.codecup.nl a new programmers challenge has started for the strategic game Ayu. Anyone interested is welcome,no restrictions and no entry fee asked. It is all about the honour of winning the competition :-).I will be in too, so you will probably meet (and beat) me there... ;-)Regards, Paul.

First test competition is finished. The played games are pretty to look at. :)

I've subscribed too, but even getting the rules in the program is pretty complicated [Go is simple by comparison], let alone doing strategy... I hope FoulOleAyu can enter before 27-9 :-)

For your comfort: my program does hardly more then following the rules. Playing it myself, it still is difficult to think of an effective strategy, let alone program it...
