Problems with the new design

The dashboard on the right overlaps the game board making the right side of most boards difficult to seel

Is there a way to resize the image?

You were a little bit faster than me to point this problem. Yes, it is really hard to make a move in HAVANNAH games, especially when the board is large. I think that some resizing is very important...

How are you able to make a move at all, if you want to make a move right under the "dashboard" (if that is what its called). In some games I am able to move, as the intended spot happens to be visible, on other boards I just cant move at the place I would like to move. The spot itself is invisible under the dashboard.

totally agree with  these topics  I have the same problem on  reversi  dots on boxes and breakthrough.

#13 · michelwav

Thank you to Richard Malaschitz for the last jobs.

Thank you to Carroll for having written how to get the entire boardgame (polyominos, breakthrough, ...) :

\* iphone site on Apple Ipad tablet (Safari) : that seems to work ;

\* ctrl-minus on Windows8-Firefox : that seems to work too.

Thanks too, to TheBurglar for his-her last message.

Another problem for me on Linux-Ubuntu+Firefox : no boardgame is visble at all for Dots and Boxes !

Last thing : I am surprised because I seem to be the only player who wrote I don't find personal notice window for current games (maybe I have missed something).

@michelwav: I have yet to see this window on any device/browser.

Related: Still no "save game" links?

#15 · wanderer_bot

And one more thing: Can members still delete posts? I can't seem to find a way.

#16 · michelwav

25 May 2014

In the old design, I often used this personal notice window during my games.

wanderer : I don't know the 2 other things you wrote about ("delte posts" and "save game").

Amazons:

The dividing lines between fields are not displayed in standard view (IE and FF). When zooming out, more and more appear, but then sometimes with a width of 2 pixels. Suggestion: Change the width of dividing lines from proportional to fixed.

Profile:

I can't find the means to upload my avatar/picture, although I saw one player that had done so.

@michelwav: "delete posts" was only for members and, sadly, seems to be gone. Mention of it has disappeared from the "Membership" page. "Save game" was very handy for making the game available in file format, e.g., for bots.  :)

One final thought: It would be great if the "Online players" button really showed who was online. In fact, dare we hope for a chat window?!

Yes editing your own posts is really missing. I'm not sure what members get now :(

my above test of 2014-05-23 was with left side menu expanded

if the left side menu is reduced to icons it might fit better at zoom=100%

but will display will flicker while the left side menu is expanded (which is maybe the default mode) and reduced after every send

maybe better/quicker if default  left side menu=icons
